Think About:     Word Study on Endurance or Perseverance

What is endurance to you?   What obstacles do you have in your life?   How do you choose to overcome obstacles in your life?  Why is perseverance an important life skill?

Project:          Continue Working on your chosen project for this month.  This is the application part of apprentice (applying principles to ourselves.)  Keep working on it.   This week assignment is to write what you have learned from doing  your project.   Send me an email with your thoughts or bring me a little paragraph to class.

You have two options again this week for Inspirements:

Create this:       Create a science experiment using water.  Bring your experiment to class and share it with the group.   Please share with us what you learn and how it relates to endurance or perseverance.

OR

Create this:       Read and study about Benjamin Franklin, his contributions to our country, his ability to problem solve and overcome obstacles.  Read a children’s non-fiction book about him from the library or find a good online source.   After studying about Benjamin Franklin choose to do one of the following;  create a character sketch of Franklins life,  build one of Franklins inventions, draw a graphic summary of an event in Franklins life, (see teaching ideas for other ideas)  Show why endurance and overcoming obstacles is important to you.
